The story
Working the phones for other people's records all day can leave you needing something purely for yourself. For sadact, that something is 'On My Mind', a French house track built from filtered loops and a groove that does not need explaining. The record arrives on 02 October 2026, and it comes with an unusual angle: the artist behind it is also the plugger pitching it.
'On My Mind' is a straight-up dance record made for the fun of it. Inspired by years of hearing electronic records on rotation at a radio station, sadact sampled what he wanted, looped it tight, and let the bounce do the work. There is no big concept here, just a sound that works on radio, clubs, and playlists. A first-pass radio edit sits alongside streaming and club versions.
The project continues a steady run of activity. In 2023, 'Need Ya' found a home on G-Mafia after being discovered through Label Radar. 'Do U Know' received radio support via Liberty Music PR in 2024. The Mild Peril EP was covered by Earmilk in 2025. Distribution runs through Republic of Music.
